As Assistant Secretary of Education for Vocational and Adult Education and Counselor to the Secretary of Education from 2001-2005, Dr. Sclafani was the US education representative to OECD and APEC and led the Mathematics and Science Initiative, the High School Redesign Initiative and the E-Language Learning Project with the Chinese Ministry of Education.
