He holds a B.S. in Economics from the Universidad Aut\u00f3noma de Santo Domingo, a Master\u2019s in Agricultural Economics from Auburn University, and a Master\u2019s in Elections and Campaign Management from Fordham University. He has also earned graduate certificates in agribusiness, strategic communication, and marketing from institutions in the United States and Chile.<\/p>\n<p>B\u00e1ez has served in various capacities at the United Nations, including Junior Program Officer, Budget Officer, and Director of Planning and Operations at the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean, with field experience in Santiago, Chile, and Mexico City. He also worked on program management with the Dominican Republic\u2019s National Planning Office and with the U.S. Agency for International Development.
